I was not your real estate agent and did not represent you in this transaction. I did notify your agent of the issue as soon as I was notified; however it was YOUR responsibility and your agent to do their research on your behalf, not mine. It is the responsibility of the buyer's agent to help their buyer navigate through the process and assist them in researching these types of issues. If you were unhappy due to this issue, or for any other reason, you had recourse to withdraw from the transaction at any time. You were not forced to buy this home and you were lucky to get it.
